125th Annual St. Patrick's Day Festival @ Downtown ATL
The 3-Day St. Patrick's Day Family Festival will start Thursday,March 16th through Saturday, March
18th,2006.There is no need to travel all the way to Savannah this St. Patrick's Day weekend; all the
fun is taking place in the 7th largest Irish City in North America... Atlanta! The festival takes
place over three day at Underground Atlanta, so come on out and enjoy live entertainment and a vendor
market at the 2006 St.Patrick's Day Festival! Also, taking place at Woodruff Park on Saturday,
March 18,2006 is the Georgia Food Festival come on out and enjoy a food vendor market from some of the
Atlanta area restaurants along, with live entertainment from 11am-6pm. Adding to the extravaganza,
patrons will also want to catch the city's 125th Atlanta St. Patrick's Parade, which will culminate
Saturday afternoon at Underground Atlanta!

10th Annual Downtown Dash for Diabetes 5K @ Hurt Park, Downtown Atlanta
This year's DASH will start in Hurt Park, go through downtown Atlanta by the Georgia State Capital and through Historic
Oakland Cemetery. Race Day Registration will begin at 7:45AM. The 5K Run/Wak will begin at 9AM and the 1 mile walk will
begin at 9:45AM. The Downtown DASH will be electronically timed. Awards will be presented to men's and women's winners in the overall categories and in age-group categories. Awards will be distributed to teams that raise the most money and any individual who has collected $300 or more is eligible to win great prizes! For more information visit

The Georgia Food Festival @ Woodruff Park 11a-6p
The Georgia Food Festival, the stateís premier outdoor food event, will be held during the Atlanta St. Patrickís Day Parade, in Woodruff Park (directly on the parade path), on Saturday, March 18, 2006, from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The festival will showcase an assortment of diverse flavors and cultures in one central location and serve as a ìtaste of Georgia,î featuring food from 70 of the stateís best restaurants. Free to attend, the festival will offer booths for each restaurant where people will purchase food with tickets, sold for $1.00 each. A portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit the GRA, the Georgia Hospitality Education Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House Charities, the official beneficiary of the St. Patrickís Day Parade. The festival will also feature carnival games, face painters and other entertainment, including live music, as well as sponsor and vendor booths where patrons can check out the last in service, merchandise and media.

Rathbun's Interactive Cooking Class: Mardi Gras @ Rathbun's 1:30p
Feel the passion, feel the heat, and get ready to experience the reality of the cooking. We don't
have recipes. We don't have rules. We look in the walk-in and decide what is available and begin
creating the dish with the cooking theme in mind. For three hours, you prepare the ingredients and get
ready to make the dish. You're in the kitchen. We provide the excitement, the knowledge and the fun.
Learn about the food, the fun and what drives the kitchen to be the best. Four teams of three people
create their dishes from scratch, and then return at the end with their guest for a complete dinner
with wine pairings. Each team will then prepare their dinner and then sit down to dine on their a
ccomplishments. Classes begin at 1:30 and go to 4:30. At 4:30, your guest arrives and you begin
serving them appetizers and wine pairings. Dinner then begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at about 7:00 p.m.
Cost is $350.00 per person (Includes 1 person in the class, 2 people at dinner, a complimentary Chef
