SUBJECT: Social Crew 2002:  downtownATL - It's all about COMMUNITY baby!!

Hello Crew!

 (and HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!)

LONG time no e!  Hope that everyone’s year is kicking off RIGHT!  I have taken a hiatus from the newsletter and web site to focus on my job (Yes, I definitely have a real one!  Sprint’s Global Markets Group is the place to be!!) and my community service projects.  Thanks to everyone who sent well wishes and wanted to make sure they hadn’t been dropped.

BUT I’m back, and the weekly newsletter is OPEN FOR BUSINESS!  I am very excited to share that the format is metamorphasizing (I’ve been studying up on really big words, too!  Or maybe just creating them – Billy Gates’ spell check doesn’t like that one AT ALL).

Social Crew 2002 will be “downtownATL”.  This is much more appropriate as the primary focus of the site (coming soon) and newsletter is to publicize hip events and opportunities to build community in and around the downtown Atlanta area.

Looking for a little more variety in your geography?  Not to fret!  The downtownATL site will continue to provide links to other superb resources highlighting events/opportunities throughout the larger Metro area.  Speaking of which, the newest addition (and an VERY impressive one at that!) is “Atlanta Illustrated” (http://www.atlantaillustrated.com).  AI brings you credible coverage and weekly updates on the best social events, parties, and networking opportunities for young professionals in and around Metro Atlanta, with features including Super Doppler Party Radar, Party Pictures and Social Commentary.  CHECK IT OUT!

My love and blessings to you all!  Hope to see ya real soon downtownATL.

If you would like to be removed from this list, or if you have another address to add please send a message to e_rich1@hotmail with either “ADD (email @ddress)” or “REMOVE (email @ddress).”  THANKS!!

P.S. Please note that as part of my ‘spring cleaning’ I have attempted to add back in many contacts from my personal address book who may have fallen out over the last year or so, or that I may have neglected to add.  I know that I lost at least a few hundred  addresses when I pulled the distro off of the listbot service.  If you receive a duplicate copy, or do not wish to receive this newsletter, please let me know!

P.S.S  Is anyone out there familiar with
Young Professionals for Covenant House, or have you been a member of one of the chapters around the country?  Please drop me a line if so!
