Southern Pig Pickin' / Tap our Czech Lager
Gordon Biersch - WED, APR 24 6p
Aletta, Chris, Eric, Mark, Glen, Carl, Yancy, Art and Eric
(the brewer) cordially invite you to the tapping of our Seasonal
Czech Lager - a crisp, deep golden, moderately hopped beer.
This beer was first brewed in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia in 1842,
using a sample of special yeast smuggled in from Germany by
a Czech monk. Until this time, all beers were dark and cloudy.
The new Czech Lager was the first beer to be brewed clear
and golden.
Enjoy all the fixin's of a traditional Southern Pig Pickin'
on the night we Tap our Czech Lager. The party is Wednesday,
April 24, 2002 from 6:00-9:00pm with all the complimentary
fixin's of a Southern BBQ. Each Tapping Party is bigger and
better than the last. So invite all your friends and co-workers
to stop by and enjoy our newest brew and some complimentary
fare.
