Rocks @ "Baker Street Park"
FRI, JUNE 14 5:30p
A DOWNTOWN JAM THAT'S NOT TRAFFIC RELATED
The Downtown Rocks concert series continues this Friday courtesy
of 99X and Bud Light. This Friday's show features Cake, Josh
Joplin Group, and Big Atomic. Presumably all playing instruments
and singing about things. And maybe Josh will absolutely
freak out and shave a dog and set his drummer on fire. It's
always the calm looking ones that do that kind of stuff. Gates
open at 5:30PM (that's 1730 hours in Army-talk). It's free
for 99X Freeloaders and you probably are one if you're reading
this eNewsletter type thingy. Unless you've stolen someone's
laptop or have assumed someone's identity. If you're not yet
a
Freeloader, sign up at 99X.com or at any Metro PCS store.
To get to the show take MARTA to the Civic Center station.
Go two blocks south on West Peachtree to West Peachtree Place
and make a right. Make a left on Centennial Olympic Park Drive
and make a right on Simpson Street. We will be there
waiting for you!

Fest @ Reynoldstown
THU, JUN 20
Tons of Artists, This is the Gospel Night and Lynn , The coordinator
said it is the largest night. Lots of fun food and stuff to
do . It is a fundraiser in part for ReynoldsTown. Each Artist
only plays a short set 15-20 min. So be there early to catch
the others and the ones that come after. Some famous folks
will be there too. Great op to schmooze. It is "right"
off Wiley by the Steel Mill if you are going towards Moreland
on Wiley from the Fulton Cotton mill passing CabbageTown Grill.

Saturday night is an evening of blues - the down home music
of the African-American South. This rooted music
began in neighborhoods just like Reynoldstown. Eventually,
the world came to embrace it. The blues celebrates
who we are and the myriad of human emotions. This
universal and uniquely American music form is honored on Blues
Night in Reynoldstown.
