Hello Crew!

Wednesday, November 20, 2002

The holidays are approaching...where did the summer go? It was just here! Anyway, pardon my nostalgia, but I'm particularly fond of the warmer months. However, the cold weather and impending holidays mean that the Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker is live and on stage at the Fox Theatre until the end of December!

Tonight, head over to King Plow and meet up with the Wednesday Night Drinking Club. Get there early because the first 500 people will receive their first round for FREE!

On Thursday, come downtown to the Healey building for a wine tasting and silent auction to benefit The Theatrical Outfit - one of downtown's PREMIER theatre groups! This event will be featuring f
ine wines from The Wine Store, owned by Chris Hinton, a former Atlanta Falcon. There will be food from some of Downtown's finest establishments: Atlanta Grill, Caliterra, City Grill, Icon Bar & Bistro, Loaf & Kettle, McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant.

On Friday join us as Centennial Olympic Park opens their seasonal ice skating rink and displays their Holiday of Lights!

BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE OTHER EVENTS THAT ARE HAPPENING DOWNTOWN (LISTED BELOW)

For happenings outside of the downtownATL area, "Atlanta Illustrated" is your ticket. Highlights this week include Twenty Twenty @ Sambuca tonight, the Stuff the Stocking Party @ Park Tavern tomorrow night and the Ground ZeroGalleries Art Party @ Atlantic Center Plaza on Friday night.

Hope to see y’all real soon
downtownATL!
