The Southeastern Flower Show is a five-day experience unmatched in the Southeast. Alma Winemiller, a minister’s daughter, lives a spinsterish existence in her parents’ Mississippi home and carries a torch for her handsome next-door neighbor, John Buchanan. He prefers the company of Rosa who is a uninhibited as Alma is repressed. When Alma reacts with an act of vengeance, it has tragic consequences. By the end, the previously straitlaced Alma, unhinged by events, has become misguidedly passionate and willful.

Grab your Oscar & hold on tight to your Golden Globes! Hollyweird's biggest collection of wacko stars want to move Tinsel Town to Georgia, but there's a psycho southern killer who has other plans! Just as plans are finalized to move Hollyweird California to beautiful Butt-Head Georgia, the mysterious Sweet Tea Strangler goes on another murderous rampage. No one is safe with this sugary sweet assassin in town. Can Atlanta Mayor Surley Frankly & California Govern-ator Arnold Squat-some-later stop the Sweet Tea Strangler before he spoils the big move? Probably not. I mean, come on, they're just politicians. It's going to take a Super Cop to bring this villan to justice. Let's just hope he arrives before the brightest stars in Hollyweird are snuffed out. Russel Crowbar, Britney Spheres, Sloop Dogg, Jessica Simpleton, Jim Scary, Jay Chin-o, Halle Barely and You are on the guest list to appear. "Who will disappear?", is the question. JOIN THE FUN AND FIND THE MURDERER!! IT MIGHT EVEN BE YOU! As always at Agatha's, the audience participates in the action in the comic murder mystery. Each night, the entire audience has a chance to die laughing between 5 courses of dinner including hor d'oeuvres, a choice of entree' and very cheap wine with the meal. Emerging Voices @ Museum of Design

Opening Reception: Thursday March 3 6:00-9:00 to coincide with Turner First Thursdays downtown gallery stroll. Co-sponsored by the Young Architects Forum and the Museum of Design Atlanta, this exhibition will be the culmination of a yearlong process that began with a search for Atlanta's brightest emerging architectural talents. After a juried selection, based on the contestants' bodies of work, the winners' works will be displayed in the Jensen Gallery. The young architects will also have the opportunity to present a lecture on their work and give a tour of one of their local building sites. Jurors: David Green and Lawrence Scarpa.

Works in Progress @ Museum of Design

Opening Reception: Thursday March 3 6:00-9:00 to coincide with Turner First Thursdays downtown gallery stroll. Coinciding with the Emerging Voices show will be an exhibit featuring the design processes of some of Atlanta's top architects. The Works in Progress exhibition is a part of the Architectural Tour series sponsored annually by the American Institute of Architects, Atlanta Chapter. Complementing the Tour series, which is finished products, the Works in Progress exhibit will emphasize the design process by displaying the behind-the-scenes doodles, sketches, and finely crafted renderings that will become some of the country's most distinguishable buildings.
