Theatrical Outfit’s 4th Annual Premiere Party @ The Rialto 6p

Theatrical Outfit will present its 4th Annual Premiere Party at the Rialto Center on Monday night, May 5 from 6-10 p.m. The Premiere Party, a benefit for the theater company, features food and beverage, a live and silent auction, and a songs and scenes from Theatrical Outfit's upcoming season. The Premiere Party program, with the theme "What Moves You", gives patrons an opportunity to see cast members performing scenes from the upcoming shows. The silent auction features travel packages, dining and entertainment opportunities, art and much more.

Cinco de Mayo Dinner @ City Grill 6:30p

City Grill will observe "Cinco de Mayo" on Monday, May 5, 2003, with a festive dinner inspired by the Mexican holiday and specialty tequila drinks. A reception at 6:30 p.m., which will feature passed hors d’oeuvres and "A Mexican on Fire" Martinis made with Buscadores Anejo Tequila, will precede the four-course dinner. "Cinco de Mayo" celebrates Mexico’s victory in the famous Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.
A traditional Margarita made with Buscadores Resposada Tequila will accompany the first course of Chilled Avocado Soup. The second course will feature a Mojito made with Rio De Plata Anejo Tequila and Lamb Carpaccio with Jicama & Corn Salsa. Served with the third course of Smoked Duck Breast with Organic Summer Succotash will be chilled Canterra Tequila with a side of Blood Orange Puree. A snifter of Puerta Vallarta Tequila will be served with Flan, a traditional Mexican dessert.
Trey Hudson and John Poplin from Atlanta Wholesale will provide commentary on the various tequilas served.

Coca-Cola sign Lighting Ceremony
May 6, 2003 For nearly 50 years, the original Coca-Cola sign stood as an Atlanta landmark and a symbolic structure that represented Coca-Cola's long-time relationship with the City of Atlanta. Twenty-plus years later, the Company is lighting a similar structure located at the top of the Olympia Building at the corner of Edgewood Avenue and Peachtree Street at 5 p.m.
