Hotlanta Firemen Calendar Judging @ Peachtree Center Mall 11:30a

It's time to select the men for 2004! Come see the competition heat up as the metro firefighters compete to make the 2004 Hotlanta Firemen Calendar at the food court in Peachtree Center from 11:30am-1:30pm. All proceeds from the calendar benefit the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation. The 2003 calendar raised over $25,000 and is still available. Visit www.gfbf.org.

This wine on Wednesday event will feature "jazzy" wines to celebrate the Atlanta Jazz Festival.
Sharon Marscowicz of Empire Distributors in Atlanta will provide commentary on the wines to be served including Bonny Doone "Book of Love" Framboise, Murphy-Goode "Wild Card" Claret, Ironstone "Obsession" (Symphony Grape) and Alexander Valley Vineyards "Sin Zin" Zinfandel. Creole appetizers will accompany the wine.
The cost to participate in Wine on Wednesday is $19 per person excluding tax and gratuity.

"Mara Estate Wines" is the theme of May's wine tasting at The Food Studio. The 2nd Annual Downtown Neighborhood Festival @ Walton & Broad Street DOWNTOWN
Join us along Broad and Walton Streets in the historic Fairlie-Poplar district in downtown Atlanta. The Festival coincides with Downtown Tour of Lofts & Lifestyles. It will feature live entertainment, an artist's market, children's activities, a beer garden and other activities designed to showcase the vibrancy of downtown living. Some of the Southeast's finest visual artists will display their work at the Artists' Market, along Walton and Broad Street. A children's area will let young artists create their own masterpieces and enjoy a series of hands-on activities. 2nd Annual Wag 'N Walk @ Centennial Olympic Park 12p

The Daisy Hill Pet Farm will sponsor the Second Annual Wag ‘n Walk in conjunction with The Downtown Tour of Lofts on Sunday, May 18, 2003. Centennial Park in Downtown Atlanta is the site for this year’s festivities with the walk (with or without leashed dogs) winding through the Fairlie Poplar neighborhood and Woodruff Park prior to ending in Centennial Park. The 2003 Wag n’ Walk will include an afternoon of activities for the whole family to enjoy, including a scavenger hunt for clues throughout the Wag n’ Walk course, dog agility and obedience demonstrations and doggie contests. The Proceeds from the event will be used to provide vet care, food and shelter to rescued pets in the Daisy Hill Pet Farm Adoption Center soon to be opening in Midtown.
