Arts In the Park @ Freedom Park
Sculptures for this show were selected by a curatorial board consisting of representatives from surrounding neighborhoods and many diverse cultural and educational organizations. These organizations include EyeDrum, the Metropolitan Public Art Coalition, Art Papers and the City of Atlanta's Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs. The goal of this was board was to select a diverse group of artists for the 2005 exhibition.

The 2005 exhibition is just the beginning of Art in Freedom Park. It will be followed by a series of annual shows entitled Discover Freedom Park beginning in spring 2006 that will focus on different areas of Freedom Park’s 212 acres.
