Second Annual Birthday Bash @ The Mark - 6:30-???
On September 16th 1998 the doors opened to Karma and soon became Atlanta's most legendary nightlife entertainment venue. Downtown's chic urban oasis hosted the city's most notorious and exclusive parties with elaborate productions, international DJs, creative themes and stories of reckless celebrity sightings. During that time Karma hosted countless events with MTV, VH-1, Playboy, HBO, Maxim and historic Superbowl, NBA All-star & Baseball All-Star game after-parties that made the club "Sexiest Nightclub in America" (Details Magazine). After 5 amazing years the Karma space underwent a dramatic renovation and re-launched in September of 2003 as The Mark Ultralounge. No longer catering to the wild behaviour and extravagant crowds of the dot-com boom and pre-911 era, The Mark carved a place in Atlanta nightlife as Downtown's premier nightclub with a loyal, sophisticated and established following. Today, The Mark continues to set new standards and is commonly recognized as Downtown's headquarters of cool.

This Friday September 16th 2005, we would like to thank you all for your continued support so join The Mark Ultralounge bartenders for complimentary Birthday Bash cocktails courtesy of Southern Comfort with live performances by Deshone Williams (afro-cuban percussion & bongos), Howie "The Great" (magician and illusionist), DJ Klever (DMC World DJ Champion) and music by Jonathan Edwards (Twijit) & Jamad (Sirius Satellite).

Please join us extra early for a special complimentary glass of champagne with friends from the neighborhood between 6:30pm-8:30pm as we celebrate Downtown's continued success.

"A Night With White" @ Clay's Gallery 6pm - 10pm
Atlanta's own Clay's Gallery to host Exclusive Art Unveiling for one of Hollywood A-List's Most Collected Visual Artists. Clay's Gallery, a sophisticated urbane new art gallery located inside of Atlanta's Edgewood Corridor, bordering Inman Park, cordially invites you to the exclusive art reception called "A Night With White" for visual artist, Todd White on Friday, September 16th from 6pm - 10pm.
White, well-known as Nickelodeon's lead animator for Sponge Bob Square Pants will be unveiling twenty new giclées for art connoisseurs and collectors, and has penned Clay's Gallery as the exclusive gallery in the State of Georgia to carry his diverse giclée and original collections. One particular piece, "Café Mocha Jive" will offer a limited quantity of 75-copy giclées and pre-ordering is an option that is being made available to guests.
As a featured artist in the August 2005 issue of ART BUSINESS NEWS, White's visual pieces are the opposite of his characters under Nickelodeon's animated sea, and his painting style, often described as Picasso meets Sex in the City, features more sophisticated, cocktail-sipping socialites as his usual subjects.
He is collected by Hollywood's A-List notables Hugh Hefner, Eric McCormack, Vin Diesel, Glenn Close, and McCauley Caulkin. To RSVP for "A Night With White" art reception featuring Todd White, contact Clay's Gallery at 404-524-1155.
