Wine on Wednesday @ City Grille 6:30p
City Grill’s monthly Wine On Wednesday tasting from 6:30-7:30 p.m., September 17, 2003, will feature the wines of Napa Valley’s Trinchero Winery.
Will Traylor of United Distributors in Atlanta will provide commentary on the wines to be served including 2000 Sauvignon Blanc, 1999 Reserve Chardonnay, 1999 Merlot, RSVP, and 1998 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Cheeses from Sweet Grass Dairy and Antico Mercante will accompany the wines. Trinchero Winery was founded in 1998 by the Trinchero family to celebrate their 50th anniversary in Napa Valley. The Trinchero’s wanted to introduce a new ultra-premium wine to Napa Valley to honor their father, Mario Trinchero, who founded Sutter
Home Winery in 1948.

DNA 50 Touring Exhibition @ SciTrek
New Interactive Traveling Exhibit - DNA 50 tells the story of research and breakthroughs in the biosciences, starting with the double helix discovery, and the effects that it has on our everyday lives. The multi-panel exhibit includes a 7 minute DVD film on the history of DNA and development of biotechnology. DNA 50 was created by The British Council to celebrate the anniversary of the discovery of the structure of DNA by British scientists Watson & Crick in 1953. The exhibit will be touring the world throughout 2003.
