For more than twenty years, Command Sergeant Major (retired) Eric
L. Haney (Inside Delta Force) served in the United States Armys
most demanding combat units: as a Combat Infantryman, as a Ranger,
and ultimately, as a founding member and eight-year veteran of the
Armys super secret counter-terrorist arm, Delta Force.
David Fulmer's Chasing the Devil's Tail, a novel of music, madness
and murder, was nominated for a LA Times Book Prize and a Barry
Award, and won a Shamus Award in 2002. Fulmer has also been a finalist
in the Nicholls Fellowship Screenplay Competition and was nominated
for a W.C. Handy 'Keeping the Blues Alive' Award for his documentary
film, Blind Willie's Blues.
Phillip DePoy is the author of seven published books, two published
plays, and thirty-seven theatre pieces that have seen production
throughout the country. His play Lamb on Fire was produced in New
York. Appalachian Christmas has been produced throughout the United
States every year since 1991. His Dell mystery novels, featuring
Atlanta character Flap Tucker, have been called the best regional
detective fiction on the market today. Too Easy was a Shamus Award
finalist. His play Easy, based on the first in the series, won an
Edgar.
