"Shooting Blind" reception @ VSA Arts for All Gallery

Two members of the New York City collective that produced the critically acclaimed exhibition, "Shooting Blind," will be at Arts for All Gallery, in the historic Healey Building, 57 Forsyth St NW, on Friday, October 29. The public is invited to a reception to meet them from 5-8 p.m.
"Shooting Blind" is an exhibition of unique photographs created by Seeing with Photography, a New York City collective of photographers who have visual impairments. It is produced by the Aperture Foundation, a nonprofit
organization devoted to photography and the visual arts. Mark Andres, the collective's coordinator, and Jessica Jones, a native Atlantan now living in NYC, will talk about their work, conduct personal tours, and sign copies of
the exhibition catalogue during the reception. Refreshments will be served. A highlight of the evening will be a live demonstration of the technique that produced the photographs in the exhibition, which the AJC recently called "miraculous."
