Dailey's Employees 20th Year Celebration @ Dailey's

Dailey’s is proud to honor two Senior Team Employees who are celebrating their 20th Anniversary with the restaurant this fall. Both men have committed their careers to the success of Dailey’s. A special reception in their honor with invited friends and family will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. featuring a buffet and live music.
“Hollywood”, as he is called by everyone who knows him, is the Lead Grill Cook who takes great pride in his grilling techniques. His very first job was as a dishwasher at Dailey’s and it didn’t take long before he realized his love of cooking and then mastered all stations in the kitchen. When asked what his goals are for the next 20 years, he said he plans on opening his own restaurant here in the city. Gary who is a Senior Dinner Waiter receives numerous call parties because of his incredibly high standard for guest quality and impeccable attention to detail. He is famous for his dedication and outstanding service and gives everything his “personal touch”.
In an industry where staff turnover is notorious, it is refreshing and inspiring to see people who are thriving in their careers. Hollywood and Gary are successful tradesmen, both proud of the careers they have chosen in this demanding and rewarding business. Dailey’s and other restaurants are motivated to help retain their staff by providing competitive earnings, excellent training and showing employees that they are valued. Dailey’s is located in downtown Atlanta at 17 International Boulevard. Lunch is served Monday through Friday Upstairs and Downstairs from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Dinner is served in Dailey’s Upstairs Sunday through Thursday 5:30 p.m.-11 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5:30 p.m.-midnight. Self-parking is available in the lot adjacent to Dailey’s. For additional information call (404) 681-3303 or visit www.daileysrestaurant.com.

Dining Out For Life

This year’s event, which marks the eleventh anniversary, will take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2003, and Atlantans need only eat out for breakfast, lunch or dinner (or all 3!) on that day at any of the participating restaurants to be part of this great celebration. Participating restaurants agree to donate a minimum of 20% of November 5th receipts to Project Open Hand at no additional cost to the consumer. Over 135 restaurants, including many of Atlanta’s best, graced the stellar list of 2002 participants - including Bacchanalia, Goldfish and The Flying Biscuit Cafe. Diners can choose to settle in to a familiar neighborhood spot or make this the occasion to indulge in the cuisine of that special establishment they’ve been meaning to try for so long. In the past ten years, this event has raised over $1,100,000 for Project Open Hand. The funds raised help Project Open Hand cook and deliver freshly prepared, nutritious meals to men, women and children living with AIDS in metro Atlanta. For further information, or to receive a complete list of participating restaurants, the public may call Project Open Hand at 404-419-3309, visit the Project Open Hand web site at www.projectopenhand.org, or visit the Dining Our for Life International web site at www.diningoutforlife.com.
