City of the Future: A Focus on Education

Business to Business Magazine presents "The City of the Future: A Focus on Education". A strong, high quality public education is essential to the long-term health and viability of our state.

Please join us on June 23rd at the Georgia- Pacific auditorium for our second City of the Future town hall meeting focusing on the issue of education in our state.  Come listen to a presentation on the "state of public education" in Georgia today. This presentation will provide you with facts on how we are performing as a state in key education areas.  This presentation will be followed by an expert panel discussion on the key issues, challenges and opportunities facing Georgia's public education system today.  Finally, come be a part of this important dialogue through your questions to our panel.

"All the world's a stage . . ." We end the season as we began, with another trip into Shakespeare's enchanted woods where Rosalind disguises herself as a man as Orlando litters the woods with love notes praising her beauty and virtue.

Will the two lovers be united? Will Orlando survive the wrestling match? Will you have a great time? Here's a hint: in June there's no better place to be than in Shakespeare's woods at The Shakespeare Tavern.

Flicks on 5th: "The Grudge"

Georgia Tech Technology Square's Flicks on 5th, a free outdoor movie series is held at Centergy Plaza, 75 5th Street in Midtown.

The movies begin at sunset (approximately 9:00 pm) and will be held every Wednesday, rain or shine, through July 27. Complimentary popcorn will be served and limited seating provided. The public is encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for seating on the concrete square in front of Centergy Plaza. Technology Square restaurants on 5th Street will be open for pre-movie dining or takeout options.

Movies on the Deck "African Queen"
@ North Avenue Presbyterian Church   Friday June 24th
Join us this summer for the 2nd Annual Movies on the Deck series, this year called the Sunset Film Festival. Bring blankets, chairs, and a picnic dinner to the upper parking deck on the last Friday of each month (May-August) for a free movie under the city lights. On Friday, June 24, come to see "African Queen" - movie begins at dark and will be moved to the BMC in case of rain. All ages welcome, no childcare provided and no pets, please.
Georgia Force Arena Football

The Georgia Force would like to thank our fans for your support!  We had such an exciting season and we couldn't have done it without you!  We are currently taking deposits for NEW season ticket holders for the 2006 season.  This deposit is $50 per seat and we will contact you when seating is available.  It is going to be first come, first serve so please let us know so we can get you the best seats available!

2005 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival: "Robots"

The time-honored tradition of the summer film festival at the Fox Theatre is an experience not to be missed! The Fox Theatre kicks off the summer with the 2005 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival. Tonight's feature "Robots" - rated PG.
