EVENT:
THU: CowParade

|
After three months grazing in pastures around metro Atlanta, the
cows are going to auction for charity. More than 100 life-sized painted
fiberglass cows will be sold through a live auction Nov. 13 at the Georgia
World Congress Center and an online auction sponsored by Yahoo! Auctions
Nov. 14 - Dec. 18. The live auction is the last time to see all the CowParade Atlanta
cows together. Approximately 40 - 50 cows will be auctioned during the
evening.
You can even check out a Cow decorated by Downtown Atlanta's own Tony
Stewart (a.k.a. ArtBoy)!!!
Surf out to "Sunny
- Atlanta's Hometown Cow" for a sneak preview. If nothing else,
please do take a look through the cows
on the site and enjoy the mooo-ving talent displayed by some of Atlanta's
finest.
Proceeds from the Atlanta auctions benefit the Southeast Division of the
American Cancer Society and TechBridge, a non-profit organization providing
high quality, subsidized technology consulting and development services
to Georgia charitable organizations.
There are many other events going on this week...for more information,
