Hooray for Hollyweird @ Agathas
Grab your Oscar & hold on tight to your Golden Globes! Hollyweird's
biggest collection of wacko stars want to move Tinsel Town to Georgia,
but there's a psycho southern killer who has other plans! Just as
plans are finalized to move Hollyweird California to beautiful Butt-Head
Georgia, the mysterious Sweet Tea Strangler goes on another murderous
rampage. No one is safe with this sugary sweet assassin in town.
Can Atlanta Mayor Surley Frankly & California Govern-ator Arnold
Squat-some-later stop the Sweet Tea Strangler before he spoils the
big move? Probably not. I mean, come on, they're just politicians.
It's going to take a Super Cop to bring this villan to justice.
Let's just hope he arrives before the brightest stars in Hollyweird
are snuffed out. Russel Crowbar, Britney Spheres, Sloop Dogg, Jessica
Simpleton, Jim Scary, Jay Chin-o, Halle Barely and You are on the
guest list to appear. "Who will disappear?", is the question.
JOIN THE FUN AND FIND THE MURDERER!! IT MIGHT EVEN BE YOU! As always
at Agatha's, the audience participates in the action in the comic
murder mystery. Each night, the entire audience has a chance to
die laughing between 5 courses of dinner including hor d'oeuvres,
a choice of entree' and very cheap wine with the meal. Prices range
from $45.00 to $55.00 per person.

Wine on Wednesday @ City Grill
City Grill is pleased to present a tasting of the most classic wines
in the world on March 16, 2005. Experience the richness of Cabernet
Sauvignon wines as speaker Michael OConnor of Empire Distributors
entertains questions throughout the event. The restaurant will offer
a sampling of light hors doeuvres to compliment these memorable
wines. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with a social gathering
for $19 per person including wine tasting and tapas.
Cabernet Sauvignon is rightfully respected as the "King of
Red Grapes." Originating in the Médoc region of France,
Cabernet was introduced in California before the 1880's and has
since become the best-known varietal produced in the U.S. It is
also known as the most dependable candidate for aging, more often
improving into a truly great wine than any other single varietal.
Cabernets have some of the most compelling of aromas & flavors:
blackberry, black currant, eucalyptus, leather, and plum that swirl
together into a delicious blend as the wine ages. And surely, a
powerful Cabernet sauvignon with a perfectly grilled steak is pretty
hard to beat. Once a taste for this wine is acquired, there is no
substitute.
Wines that will be featured:
Ý Marcelina, Napa Valley
Ý Hess Estate, Napa Valley
Ý Chateau Haut-Beausejour, France
Ý Pedroncelli 'Three Vineyards', Sonoma County
Ý Avery Lane, Washington State
Ý Yalumba, Barossa Valley, Australia
City Grill will feature Cabernet Sauvignon wines on the wine list
throughout the entire month of March. The wines will also be paired
with complimentary dishes on the Chefs Tasting Menu on March
16th for those who would like to experience a meal dedicated to
the delights of Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Those who attend both
the tasting and The Chefs Tasting Menu will receive the total
package for only $75.00 all-inclusive.
Chef Anne Moriarta will graciously prepare alternative selections
for those who have special dietary needs. Reservations are suggested
and may be made by calling 404-524-2489 or accessing www.citygrillatlanta.com.
City Grill is located in the historic Hurt Building at 50 Hurt Plaza

St. Patricks Day Festivities and
Parade @ Underground Atlanta
The parade will be held Saturday, March 19 at 1pm in Downtown Atlanta
and will end by 3pm at Underground Atlanta. Underground Atlanta
will provide entertainment and a vendor market from St. Patrick's
Day, Thursday, March 17, through Saturday, March 19.
Atlantas first St. Patricks Parade was held by the citys
oldest civic organization, The Hibernian Benevolent Society of Atlanta,
in 1858. The first St. Patricks Day was publicly celebrated
in the U.S. in 1737 in Boston to recognize Irish culture and success
in the United States. Originally, the Irish left their homeland
for a variety of reasons - poverty, fear and hopelessness. Rather
than finding streets paved with gold, they found slums, prejudice,
discrimination and hatred. In spite of the odds against them, they
struggled, fought and succeeded.
St. Patrick's Day is not just an Irish Celebration. Symbolically,
this day holds out hope to the multitudes coming to our shores and
starting out in a new land, explained 2005 Atlanta St. Patricks
Parade Chairman Ed Moran. The success of the Irish is cause
for everyone to celebrate and have hope for the future because,
in a way, each of us are immigrants striving for success in this
nation.
Underground Atlanta and the Atlanta St. Patricks Day Foundation,
which supports the Atlanta St. Patricks Parade, would like
to thank the following sponsors: AirTran Airways, Q100, 99X, SunTrust,
