will feature Atlantas hot, up-and-coming Sevendust, most recently
recognized for their hit single, Broken Down. Then, breaking back
into the music scene with unconventional lyrics and innovative,
fresh music are the increasingly popular group, Innatrance. Adding
to the almost all-Atlantan line-up are five Metro Atlanta natives
who are known for their uncanny ability to turn every show into
a pulsating experience of funk, rap, rock and reggae, the Crazy
Anglos. And yet another southern band forged in Atlanta (specifically
Jonesboro) are the sophisticated talents of Travisty Theory with
a mix of classic rock and alternative sounds.

for the shows this year are only $5.00 for individual tix or
12 tickets for only $36 (a 40% savings!). These 12
tickets are valid for any combination of shows during the season

"All About Art" Family Fun Day @ CO Park
Bring Your Creativity to the Park for All About Art.
Budding artists wont want to miss out on Fourth Saturday Family
Fun Day at Centennial Olympic Park in June. The Park presents All
About Art, Saturday, June 26. From noon to 4 p.m., Family
Fun Day participants can spin a wheel and create a piece of art
with FISH radio, assemble
stuffed animals using recyclable materials with Katie, Katie the
Paper Lady, and enjoy a variety of activities presented in APEX
Museums Mtoto-Kijiji (Mtoe-toe-key-jee-jee) or Childrens
Village. These will include arts and crafts activities where
children can create their own musical instruments and masks, enjoy
face painting, storytelling and lessons on how to speak and count
in Swahili.
In addition to all of these fabulous activities, dancers from the
professional company of the Georgia Ballet will perform as well
as students from the upper levels of the Georgia Ballet School.
The Georgia Ballet will also bring costumes, including pointe shoes
and tutus, for aspiring dancers to see up close.
Families are encouraged to take MARTA to this Fourth Saturday Family
Fun Day because of an extensive number of activities taking place
downtown June 23 through 26.
On the fourth Saturday of every month, April through September,
Centennial Olympic Park hosts Fourth Saturday Family Fun Days. From
noon to 4 p.m., families participate in a free, themed mini-festival
featuring interactive games, performances, and arts and crafts,
all intended to entertain and educate. Every month has a different
theme, so be sure to return July 24 for Its About Sports.
