Atlantis Music Conference & Festival
Set
One of America's greatest platforms for discovery of new talent
and the music industry's main summertime gathering place, the Atlantis
Music Conference and Festival, is scheduled this year for August
10 - 13, 2005. Now in its eighth year, the annual music event will
once again bring together professionals representing all sectors
of the music industry and more than 300 of music's most promising
new artists for 4 around-the-clock days and nights of performances,
panels, parties, keynote addresses and more; all taking place in
the heart of the city heralded as today's new music mecca, Atlanta,
Ga.
Amping up to be the event's biggest year ever, the 2005 Atlantis
will further the momentum fueled by last year?s successful conference,
which welcomed more than 300 artists, 3,000 registrants and 42,000
live music enthusiasts, together representing 32 states and six
countries. For 2005, Atlantis organizers expect an even greater
number of attendees and a broader spectrum of showcasing artists
from all over the U.S. and overseas. And much like the remarkable
diversity of Atlanta?s own music scene, which boasts a matchless
musical heritage and is home to a number of today?s top hitmakers
in urban, pop and rock music as well as trailblazing, critically
acclaimed independent artists, the 2005 Atlantis will spotlight
an array of genres including rock, hip-hop, singer/songwriter, soul,
Latin, pop, punk, metal and R&B.
