The Atlanta Jazz Festival is taking place this month in downtownATL as well as various venues citywide. Sites include SunTrust's Lunch on Broad Street, Centennial Olympic Park, the Renaissance Atlanta Downtown Hotel, Underground Atlanta, City Grill, Dailey's, Max Lager's and Icon Bar & Bistro.

On Friday join Hands On Atlanta and Honorary Chairs Arthur and Stephanie Blank for an annual wine tasting fundraiser, "A Taste for Volunteering". Sample extraordinary wines and beers, enjoy live music and fabulous hors d'oeuvres, and participate in live and silent auctions.

Friday night is also the March of Dime's "Dining Out" event. Treat yourself to delectable dishes during the March of Dimes Dining Out at a variety of Atlanta’s finest dining spots on Friday while helping the Georgia Chapter of the March of Dimes raise awareness and funds to combat premature births and other birth defects. Don’t miss this opportunity to indulge for a good cause. Participating downtown restaurants: Cavu, City Grill, Eno, McCormick & Schmick's, Morton’s – Downtown, Nikolai's Roof, Sotto Sotto, Spice, The Abbey.

This weekend is the time to show mom that you care! Haven't had time to pick up a special something for her yet? If she lives in town, why not take her to brunch at one of downtown's finest restaurants? There is a Mother's Day brunch going on at these downtown restaurants: Dailey's, Sylvia's, Hyatt Atlanta, McCormick & Scmick's, and the Ritz-Carlton.

On Monday, grab some friends and join the Atlanta Community Food Bank's Supper Club at MF Sushibar. 20% of your tab will automatically be donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
