Hopefully you have had a chance to sample some of the finest food in Downtown Atlanta by now, but if not, don't worry...you have until Sunday to partake in the first 2003 installment of Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week!  Participating restaurants, including Max Lager's, City Grill, and Dailey's, will be charging $20.03 for a full course meal (some restaurants are even offering 2 meals for $20.03).  Click here for a list of the participating restaurants. 

Thursday night Max Lager's plays host to both The Atlanta Jazz Festival AND a happy hour benefit for for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Jazz will be in the upstairs tavern beginning at 7:30 and Max Lager’s will feature $2.00 Max Pales and a complimentary Appetizer bar! 
 
Take MARTA to Underground Atlanta on Saturday for the Caribbean Festival, a fun-filled and exciting festival that will take place in the streets of downtown Atlanta!  This festival will be family friendly and will feature dancing in the streets, food from the caribbean islands, and live music!
 
The Shakespeare Cabaret will be on stage both Friday and Saturday at the Shakespeare Tavern.  This unique cabaret performance of music is from Shakespeare, about Shakespeare, and inspired by Shakespeare. Styles range from Elizabethan to Swing, Renaissance to Country, Jazz to Flamenco, and Cruise Ship to Appalachian, along with a few hipsters, flipsters, and finger-poppin' daddies. Like the works of the Bard, this cabaret offers a little comedy, a little drama, a little poetry, a little bawdiness, and lots of love. The only tragedy is if you miss this very special event!  This special event will run for three (3) nights only - May 23, 24, and 30 at 11:00pm.
