We're back! Apologies for the two week hiatus, but we've got GREAT news to share!. Jennifer (Managing Editor and Reporter) and Erich (Publisher and Editor-In-Cheif) are engaged! We met through downtownATL and we appreciate all of your support of the newsletter and web site over the years. We are glad to be back again and have a lot of events to catch you up on.

First, break out the new (and old!) logoed gear and join the Atlanta Falcons as they open the 2003 season at the Georgia Dome fresh off a 27-13 victory over the Dallas Cowboys at Texas Stadium last Sunday. The Falcons are set to face the Washington Redskins who make their first-ever visit to the Georgia Dome this Sunday. Don't have tickets? Tune into Fox 5 Atlanta for live television coverage.

On Friday, join fellow members of the downtownATL 'Crew as we mingle with residents of downtown Atlanta for the Downtown Dweller Happy Hour at Lunatique. Complimentary appetizers will be served while they last. This event is held at different restaurants and bars in downtown Atlanta on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month from 6:00 until 8:00. We have our venues lined up through the end of the year so be sure to check out our calendar to find out where we'll be next.

Afterwards be sure to swing by "The Mark Ultralounge" and be among the first to experience Atlanta's newest and best spot for cocktails. If you are a fan of the Ian Schrager style hotel scene like we are and have been waiting for that groove to hit the ATL your wait is OVER! They have done a superb job of combining the New York City feel of the crem de la crem of city hotspots with downtownATL influence and flavor. Hit their web site and take a look!

On Saturday, help celebrate Agave's 3rd anniversary by enjoying unlimited margaritas, appetizers, and live music from 11:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. This will be tons of fun! No reservations required. Must have a valid ID. $13.00 donation.

Also, MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Friday September 26th when Atlanta's best Cocktail Party heads to Downtown for the first time! You are in for a treat as City Grill, one of Atlanta's top restaurants, closes its doors for this private party for Square Hatters and invited guests. With live music by King Size and food galore, we'll show you a Square Hat-style good time!
