River? We don't need no stinkin' river - we've got Peachtree Street! Ray's In the City - the sister restaurant to Atlanta favorite "Ray's on the River" - officially opened December 1st on Peachtree Street in downtownATL!! We attended the opening and the food, atmosphere and wait staff are TOP NOTCH...and the pricing is very reasonable for the high quality product. Next time you're downtown be SURE to pay Ray's a visit. Word is that they will be offering great happy hour specials. Be sure to check back in our ONGOING section for scoop.
The Holidays are upon us and Santa is geared up to take the sleigh ride over the highway and through the skyscrapers this weekend. The Atlanta Festival of Trees and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. at the corner of Peachtree and Baker (near Max Lager's) and then winds it's way through downtown to Centennial Olympic Park.
