Happy St. Patrick's Day Crew!

Whatever you're in the mood for this St. Patrick's Day, Underground Atlanta invites you and all your friends to put a little zest in your step by stopping in for good eats, treats and festivities!
* Mick's will be offering drink specials at their upstairs bar throughout the day. For only $1.82 patrons can enjoy beer, wine and other beverages including top shelf liquor with only a $.91 up-charge. The only catch is that patrons MUST be wearing something green to receive these discounts!
* Jamaica, Jamaica will also be offering its signature drink, the Bob Marley, which contains five shots of green, yellow and red liquor, as well as its famous ox tails and jerk chicken.
* Fix that sweet tooth by hopping over to Johnny Rocket's for a mouth-watering, thick and creamy green vanilla Shamrock Shake!

Also, neighborhood favorite Sidebar (Jamie Go Braugh!) and new neighbor from Buckhead The Tin Roof Cantina will be celebrating with specials and green brew galore.

On Friday, take your remaining brain cells with you to Central Atlanta Library for the Friends Of Central Atlanta Library's annual BOOK SALE! Great deals on GREAT books, CD, DVDs and even books on tape...and you'll never have to pay a late return fee! The sale runs Friday through Saturday.

On Sunday, head down to Turner Field to Celebrate 20 years of the Hunger Walk! Registration begins at noon. Festivities include: certified 10K run (yes, it's a Peachtree Road Race qualifier!) at 1 p.m., 5K walk and "reverse parade" at 2:30 p.m., live music, entertainment and refreshments at Turner Field until 4 p.m. Celebrity emcees include Z93's Mara Davis, V103's Porsche Foxx and 11 Alive Anchor Brenda Wood. All monies raised benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank and six additional hunger-relief charities serving greater Atlanta.
